The project focused on converting all floors into fully accessible residential units, combined with significant improvements to energy performance and indoor environmental quality.

The layout is driven by the needs of residents with both physical and mental disabilities, resulting in larger rooms, reduced corridor areas, and barrier-free circulation. Bathrooms and kitchens were fully modernised and made accessible, while communal areas, service functions, and housing units are organised around a central lift core ensuring step-free access. The building was additionally upgraded with improved insulation and a new ventilation system to ensure a stable and healthy indoor climate.

Responsibilities included preliminary investigations, programming, concept design, detailed design, and site supervision.
