Rapid Progress in Holbæk!
The main structure of the 2 high-rise buildings, part of the stage 1 development, have now been erected. These buildings mark an important milestone in the completion of this new residential area of Jernstøberigrunden.
The window and balcony assembly through their material, color and geometry contribute to the building's sharp detailing. Also, the large glazing units will ensure all homes will enjoy ample natural light and offer beautiful views of the green communal areas, Holbæk city center and harbor beyond.
The former iron foundry site (Jernstøberigrunden) in Holbæk is a historic site that once housed an iron foundry, which was an important part of the town's industry. The area is centrally located in Holbæk and has changed over the years from being an active industrial site to becoming an area with a focus on urban development and renewal. The architectural features reflect a respect for the site's industrial history, using robust materials combined with modern, bright elements.
The project is part of Holbæk municipality's vision of urban formation and densification as a contribution to creating a more dynamic and sustainable district.
