Exciting Furniture System Based on Circular Design

The design is called Havn and is a flexible, modular furniture system for public areas, which is inspired by the characteristic timber wharf edges of the canals in Copenhagen.

The simple design is exceptionally versatile and can be assembled as building blocks in many different geometrical formations, both inviting conversation or creating space for different groups or individuals sitting by themselves. The furniture system is developed for easy assembly and endless possibilities of site-specific adaptation in both temporary and permanent settings.

HAVN is originally designed for use at Copenhagen Airport and represents ZESO’s commitment to circularity, SMALLrevolution have produced the design in upcycled plastic from waste bins in Copenhagen.
