ZESO has just handed in a proposal for a library in China.
The project’s round shape refers to the Middle Ages, where a library should be protected, and knowledge only was available for the few. Today we refer to our history by referring to the round shape – but now, as a temple for knowledge, where transparency and openness invites everyone in.
